Our school library uses the Dewey Decimal Classification system, which is also used in most public libraries. If you browse along the shelves in the following areas in the children's books section you will find some useful titles:031 General reference area where you'll find illustrated encyclopedias such as World Book; 500 area for books about wild animals; 900 for books about individual countries. For example, 966.7 for books about Ghana; 968 for books about South Africa; 968.91 for books about Zimbabwe.
